The City of Perry is asking motorists to remove their vehicles from city streets this Monday and Tuesday for street sweeping from the recent derecho.

The City has hired a company to sweep the streets, clear gutters, and vacuum out storm drains. The company has special equipment that will pick up small pieces of bark and tree debris. The public is asked to not park on the streets Monday or Tuesday if possible. For more information, contact Perry City Hall at 515-465-2481.
