Following a State Championship and State Runner-Up finish last year at the Iowa State High School Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge last November, two of the most pre-season hyped Cross Country teams in Iowa happen to be the Boys’ and Girls’ of Dallas Center-Grimes.

The Mustangs and Fillies get the opportunity to showcase their talents in the season opening meet by hosting an Invitational in Grimes on Tuesday, September 1 with a 5:00pm start.

Mustang Boys’ Cross Country is once again under the leadership of Head Coach, Matt Pries, while the Girls’ are lead by Justin Droppert.

DC-G has a solid week of practice to prepare for the first meet of 2020 with the opening Invitational on September 1, and then will have another week off after that before returning to competition following the Labor Day Holiday Weekend.
