An annual favorite for high school football fans will look a bit different compared to years past.

Friday is the night of scrimmages across the State of Iowa as football teams prepare for the regular season which starts next week. It’s clear that safety will be the top priority for schools moving forward, on and off the field. In an effort to limit the crowd size, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District is asking only families of those participating in the scrimmage to attend. ADM is also requiring a face covering to enter the stadium. Activities Director Rod Wibers says he is still working on additional guidelines for the fall sports season and they will be released Monday.

Those who will be unable to attend ADM’s football games can listen to the Tigers on the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network on 107.9 FM, online at RaccoonValleyRadio.com, and on the free KKRF mobile app.
