Due to ongoing drought conditions and the recent derecho, Landus Cooperative has scheduled several webinars to update its farmer-owners.
Landus Cooperative staff will host free 30-minute virtual meetings to update farmers about location-specific harvest details, COVID-19 impacts and talk about the future for the company. Participants are encouraged to ask questions at the end. Due to social distancing guidelines, they will be using the online service GoTo Webinar, which is free to dial-in on a phone or use an internet-enabled device.
A meeting is scheduled tomorrow for Jefferson, Bayard, Dawson, Yale and Dedham from 7:30-8:15am. Then on Monday, August 24th will be one for Scranton and Ralston from noon-12:45pm. As an added incentive, those who register and participate in the virtual meeting will be entered to win a $50 gift card to one of that area’s locally-owned restaurants.
