As we march towards the start of fall sports, we’re taking an in-depth look at AC/GC’s football schedule.

In week Five AC/GC will have a chance to avenge one of their three regular season losses from 2019. The defending state runner up Van Meter Bulldogs will be hosting the Chargers. In last seasons matchup, AC/GC was held in check on all sides of the ball as they fell 42-8. Last year the Chargers got a lot of experience getting revenge as three of their wins in 2019 came from teams they lost to in 2018. Good news for AC/GC is Van Meter’s star quarterback Anthony Potthoff, who also led the team in rushing graduated.
