The AC/GC Chargers will be hosting a football scrimmage on Friday night when the Madrid Tigers come to town in a warm up for both teams before their week 1 game.
This will be the first look as the fans will get the opportunity to see the team compete for the 2020 season, as AC/GC will have expectations on the season returning a good portion of their offense and defense. The Chargers are coming off their first winning season, and believe that they will have another good team this year under the direction of head football coach Cody Mathewson.
Both the football and volleyball teams were supposed to have scrimmages at Madrid. However, due to damage at the school and loss of power, the scrimmages will be move to Guthrie Center.
