Participation numbers are always very imporant in high school football, but West Central Valley football is looking like they are going to have a lot of players on their team for the 2020 football season.

WCV has 38 players listed on the 2020 roster. The Wildcats currently have 15 sophomores, 13 juniors, and 10 seniors on their roster according to Varsity Bound. There are also a good amount of freshman that aren’t listed on the roster, but have shown good numbers so far.

Getting participation numbers is something that head football coach Jim Lindsay has talked about quite a bit for the Wildcats, and it hoping that in future classes the Wildcats can get great turn out for their football season. Every position is open for the Wildcats. as they’ve had a competitive first week so far.

West Central Valley will play their first game two weeks from tonight, when they play at home against the Wolverines of Nodaway Valley.
