The ADM Tiger softball team continues to pile on the postseason accolades of the 2020 softball season, with two players being named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association class 4A all state teams.
Senior Abbie Hlas was listed on the first team all state team, after putting up a dynamite final campaign at both hitting and pitching for the Tigers team. Hlas showed a lot of great leadership while leading the team in multiple categories including hits, doubles, RBIs, and home runs as well. She also was the leading pitcher with a 9-4 record and 1.65 ERA with a team leading 63 strikeouts to only 18 walks.
Freshman Aliya Yanga was named to the second team on the all-state team, after putting together another great season with a .333 clip and a OBP of .458 with five doubles, two home runs, and eleven RBIs as well. She was great on the mound with a 3-1 record and a 1.00 ERA on the season.
The Raccoon River Conference was one of the most represented conferences listed on the 4A team, with nine members making the first team, four on the second team, and four on the third team.
Congrats to both of these girls for tremendous seasons, and for getting the recognition they deserve on these all state teams.
