Monday, August 10th

10:14am: The Sheriff and deputies responded to numerous weather-related calls.

10:35am: The Sheriff responded to a domestic in the 1000 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.

10:45am: A deputy responded to a single vehicle accident on W Avenue near 230th Street. Utility Poles were blown down and they landed on a vehicle and a trailer. The driver Jason McClellan 44 of Boone was driving a 2011 Dodge Ram pulling a trailer with a UTV on it. The total about of damage is unknown as the power lines are still down. The driver was uninjured.

11:08am: A deputy investigated a hit and run accident in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

1:35pm: The Sheriff assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of South 12th Street, Grand Junction.

2:19pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 800 block of Main Street, Grand Junction.

7:02pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 200 block of Howard Street, Rippey.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
