Each of the four counties that make up the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area reported new COVID-19 cases over the weekend.

According to the state dashboard Sunday, there were 58 new cases in Dallas County since Thursday, increasing their total to 1,883. They also have 1,431 individuals that have recovered and 35 deaths. Greene County had two new positive case for a total of 41. They also have 36 recoveries, and zero deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Sunday, Guthrie County had four new positive cases increasing their total to 131, with 71 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County reported two new positive cases for a total of 23, with 15 recoveries, and no deaths. Dallas County had the highest 14 day positive percentage with 7%. Guthrie and Adair Counties were at 5%, and Greene County was at 3%.

Statewide, there were 1,593 new cases since Thursday for a total of 48,844, with 37,111 recoveries and 931 deaths. Of the 521,870 people that have been tested, 469,976 were negative.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 66 hospitalized patients, with seven in Intensive Care Units, and eight admitted in the last 24 hours.
