The Greene County Republican Party is hosting an open house for their new temporary headquarters in Jefferson tomorrow.
The event will take place at the former Homestead Coffee and Bakery, located at 121 East Lincoln Way. From 10am-1pm, there will be free doughnuts available as part of the “Donut Defund Our Police” where attendees can hear about the positivity of local law enforcement. Then from 1-6pm free prizes will be given away, including tickets to their fall fundraiser on August 28th, which features guest speakers Governor Kim Reynolds and Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District Republican candidate Randy Feenstra.
The event wraps up with “Pizza and Politics” from 6-7pm. Free pizza will be provided and attendees will hear from Iowa House District 47 Representative Phil Thompson, who is seeking re-election, and Iowa Senate District 24 candidate Jesse Green.
The event is free and open to the public.
