Several fire and rescue teams were needed Saturday morning to fight a fire Saturday morning.

According to the Stuart Fire Department, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday they responded to a house fire in which the entire garage was engulfed in flames. Crews had to ventilate and a quick knock down of the garage to prevent it spreading to the attached house. The fire was controlled in time to limit the spread to the home.All crews were returned safely. Stuart Fire was aided at the scene by fire crews from Dexter and Menlo, as well as Stuart Rescue.
