With extra safety measures in place, official practices for Iowa high school Fall sports start tomorrow. Greene County has football, volleyball, and cross-country in the fall. Any Greene County student wishing to swim would do so for Boone High School under an athletic sharing agreement.

Jeff Lamoureux is the head cross-country coach. Chris Heisterkamp heads the volleyball program, and Caden Duncan is football’s head coach.

Extra sanitizing, social distancing when possible, not closely gathering in large groups, using individual water bottles and towels, are some of the extra measures being taken because of the COVID-19 situation.

The State of Iowa is proceeding with normal start dates, while some neighboring states have either reduced schedules, made other modifications, or delayed to Spring 2021 what normally would have been played in the Fall months.
