Looking back on the craziness that was the 2020 Iowa High School Baseball season, we take a look at the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Baseball squad.  A team that packed a punch with the bats, yet only knocked two hits beyond the fence this summer.

DC-G Baseball averaged nearly 8 runs per night, which was instrumental in their success.  Head Coach, Byron Peyton knew that his lineup, top to bottom, could break out for a big night at any given moment.

However, two guys really stick out on the offensive side of the stat book, as Colby Wigham and Caleb Dicken were often the two guys that the Mustangs would count on in key situations.  Wigham batted a .386 average, had a .465 OBP, and drove in 16 runs, and was walked 11 times over the season.  Dicken batted a .400 average, had a .513 OBP, had a home run, and 20 RBIs.

DC-G Baseball ended its season as a final four team in the Class 3A Bracket at Principal Park, and finished with a 18-4 record.
