Several counties in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area reported new positive COVID-19 cases Thursday.

According to the state dashboard Thursday, there 25 new cases in Dallas County, increasing their total to 1,830. They also have 1,361 individuals that have recovered and 35 deaths. Greene County had one new positive case for a total of 39. They also have 33 recoveries, and zero deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Thursday, Guthrie County had three new positive cases increasing their total to 127, with 71 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County stayed the same with 21 positive cases, 15 recoveries, and no deaths. 

Statewide, there were 418 new cases Thursday for a total of 47,251, with 35,524 recoveries and 908 deaths. Of the 505,368 people that have been tested, 455,466 were negative.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 70 hospitalized patients, with 16 in Intensive Care Units, and seven admitted in the last 24 hours.
