The Adel-Desoto-Minburn cross country teams will start getting ready and prepared for their season on Monday, as they have talented runners on both the boys and girls side and expect to compete at a high rate this season.
Tiger runners will have plenty of time to train and get into shape before their first meet of the season on Saturday, September 5th when they travel to Urbandale to take on schools in a higher class. Season highlights will include their one home meet on September 21st at Hillcrest Country Club. They also will be racing at Central College against Pella, a big race on Monday September 14th at Ballard, and will run a Raccoon River Conference race against conference foes at Iowa State University at 5 o’clock on October 13th.
The state race will be held on October 31st this year for both the boys and the girls.
ADM Tigers cross country will have a lot of talent back for the upcoming season, and will be ready to go against some great competition in what show be a fun and challenging schedule for the Tigers.
