Official practice for Iowa high school fall sports starts on Monday, Aug. 10, but volleyball and football camps are being conducted this week for athletes in the Greene County athletic programs.

Chris Heisterkamp is the head volleyball coach, now in her third season heading the program. The coach and her assistants have six returning letter winners who will attempt to lead the program back to a winning season, something that’s avoided the Rams recently.

Caden Duncan is in his second season as head football coach and he’ll be trying to keep the Rams among the elite in Class 2A after a 9-2 season in 2019 and advancing to the quarterfinal round of the playoffs and a top 10 ranking.

Cross-Country practice will also start Monday with Jeff Lamoureux returning as the head coach.
