The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers had to revise their 2020 football schedule and put a new opponent on their schedule in the Cubs of Nevada. They will be traveling up there for the first week of the season against a team that had a lot of success on their season last year.
Nevada went 7-2 last year tying for first with West Marshall in their district but not going to the playoffs because of not winning the head-to-head matchup and not having a high enough RPI.
Nevada bring back a talented runner in senior Caden Jones, who had 812 yards and 8 TDS on the season last year, and a talented playmaker on the outside in junior Caeden DaSilva, who had 32 catches for 425 yards and 4 TDs. Nevada will not have their QBs from last season, and will be bringing back a quarterback room that has a combined nine passes from the 2019 season.
This should be a good first week test for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers, as their is expected to be many twists and turns on the season. On August 28th, ADM will be taking on this Nevada team in hopes of starting the season 1-0.
