The Perry City Council will be hearing an update from a newly formed committee regarding the City’s firework ordinance.

At the recent meeting, the Council formed a committee featuring Council members Randy McCaulley, Barb Wolling, and Police Chief Eric Vaughn to discuss how the City should handle fireworks moving forward. This committee is expected to present their first update to the Council during Monday’s meeting. 

The Council will also discuss a resolution pertaining to an airport improvement grant. Then before adjoining, they will set a public hearing for a proposed vacation of public right-of-way. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. in the Towncraft Center building. The City asks that anyone who intends on attending the meeting to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
