
Thursday, July 30th
3:01am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street near X Avenue.
11:18am: A deputy investigated single vehicle rollover on D Avenue near 130th Street. Tyson Blanchfield 18 of Lohrville swerved to miss a deer and rolled his 1999 Chevrolet Silverado causing an estimated 10,000 dollars damage. Nobody was injured in the accident.
2:30pm: A deputy investigated a UTV accident in the 2000 block of 175th Street. Roger Stoline 76 of Jefferson was backing his Polaris Ranger and struck his 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and was ejected from the UTV. Greene County Ambulance responded and transported Roger to the Greene County Medical Center with minor injuries. There was minor damage to both the truck and UTV.
5:29pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 300 block of South 7th Street, Grand Junction.
7:25pm: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 300 block of South 7th Street, Grand Junction.
9:02pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 237th Street and S Avenue. Monica Smith 20 of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2017 Ford Fusion causing an estimated 7,000 dollars damage to the car.
11:52pm: The Sheriff, deputies, Grand Junction Fire and Rescue, Rippey Fire, and Jefferson Fire responded to a house fire in the 600 block of 2nd Street, Rippey. The house was a total loss and has been ruled as a arson. The occupants of the house had just moved out a few hours prior to the fire. One of the occupants had told a neighbor that they were going to light it on fire after they were out. The investigation continues as we are requesting arrest warrants for Arson.
Friday, July 31st
9:50am: A deputy investigated a vicious dog complaint in the 300 block of Howard Street, Rippey.
10:07am: A deputy assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with trying to locate a stolen vehicle.
12:47pm: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson Police Department conducted a search warrant in the 1200 block of Westwood Drive. Stolen property was located and Juan Guzman 33 of Jefferson was arrested for possession of stolen property.
2:38pm: Juan Guzman 33 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for theft 5th degree, forgery, and ongoing criminal conduct.
3:05pm: Brandon Goble 34 of Marshall Town was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
3:36pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near Hillcrest Avenue. Dawn Rudolph 55 of Scranton struck a deer with a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado causing an estimated 5,000 dollars damage.
4:07pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 900 block of J Avenue.
4:37pm: Jason Sheldahl 49 of Scranton was booked into the jail for a violation of a no contact order.
8:50pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near S Avenue. Daniel Dawson 48 of Manning struck a deer with a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer causing an estimated 4,000 dollars damage.
Saturday, August 1st
9:16am: The Sheriff and a deputy conducted a welfare check on A Avenue and 250th Street.
7:18pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 170th Street and S Avenue.
Sunday, August 2nd
7:31am: Karl Krieger 27 was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated 1st offense.
12:36pm: Brittannie LeClair 28 of Promise City was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
1:08pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Main Street and Madison Street in Scranton.
4:08pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check at Spring Lake.
5:00pm: A deputy, Jefferson Fire, and Grand Junction Fire responded to a grass fire on Quaker Avenue and 235th Street.
7:22pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of W Avenue.
9:30pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 1500 block of 235th Street.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
