Following a 7-5 win for the Dallas Center-Grimes Softball team over the 3rd seeded Fairfield Trojans gave another notch in the victory column for Hall of Fame Head Coach, Steve Schlafke.
A win for Lani Gannon inside the circle, with a save for Riley Hall as she made her appearance in the 6th inning. Gannon and Hall each escaped multiple jams, as Fairfield stranded nine runners in scoring position.
DC-G will face the 7th seeded, Winterset Huskies at 11:30am this morning. DC-G and Winterset are former Raccoon River Conference rivals, as DC-G administration made the decision to move to the Little Hawkeye Conference a few years ago.
Winterset upset the #2 seed, West Delaware on Monday night by the score of 7-4. DC-G is 20-9 on the year, and Winterset is 15-7.
