The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will be airing live play-by-play coverage of the state baseball and softball tournament for area schools. 

Last night the Dallas Center-Grimes softball team started their tournament action with a 7-5 win over Fairfield. They’ll play again Friday morning against Winterset. First pitch for that game is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in Fort Dodge. The Dallas Center-Grimes baseball team will start their tournament action today as they’re set to play Benton Community at 4:30 p.m. You’ll be able to listen to play-by-play coverage of the Fillies and the Mustangs throughout the state tournament on 99.7 FM and 1310 AM KDLS. 

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn baseball team qualified for the state tournament for the second consecutive season. The first game for ADM is tonight at 7:30 p.m in Des Moines. You’ll be able to follow the Tigers on 107.9 FM KKRF.
