Football teams across the state of Iowa got their first schedule adjustment of the 2020 season as the ISHAA announced a shortened season for football teams in the state of Iowa. Instead of the regular nine game schedule, football teams at the class 3A level will have their seasons cut out by at least two games with teams given the option of playing just their district games or adding two more to that tally. Also every team in the class will make the state playoffs, as there will be a 64 team six round tournament that would start on October 16th.

ADM will have the option of playing either five, six, or seven games, with the district games all to start on September 11th. The first week is still scheduled for Friday, August 28th, but the opponent right now of the Tigers is unknown.

The announcement was made a week later after the ISHAA said the week before that they will be having the season as regularly scheduled.

Adel-Desoto-Minburn was originally scheduled to face the teams of Gilbert at home, Harlan at home, Knoxville on the road, and Creston on the road for the first four weeks of the season.

For the Tigers, they will still have their first practice of the season on the same date, which is August 10th.
