Dallas and Guthrie counties saw a rise in COVID-19 cases Friday.
According to the state dashboard as of Friday, 19 new cases of the virus were added to Dallas County for a total of 1,634. They also have 1,130 individuals that have recovered and 34 deaths. Greene County remained the same on Friday with 37 cases, 29 recoveries, and zero deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Friday, Guthrie County saw two new cases to increase their total to 116, with 69 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County remained the same for a total of 22 positive cases with 15 recoveries and no deaths.
Statewide, there were 445 new cases Friday for a total of 41,079, with 29,196 recoveries and 820 deaths. Of the 442,532 people that have been tested, 399,849 were negative.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 88 hospitalized patients, with 20 in Intensive Care Units, and three admitted in the last 24 hours.
