The AC/GC football season will look different than what was originally planned.

The IHSSA announced Friday the regular season will be condensed to seven weeks, which will mostly impact non-district schedule. The Chargers were supposed to start their season with matchups with Earlham, IKM-Manning, South Central Calhoun, and Interstate-35. The four teams combined went 29-12 last season with three of the four teams qualifying for the playoffs. For reference, their non-district opponents last season went a combined 15-24 last season.

We’ll have to wait and see what exactly the schedule will look like come this fall.
