Dallas, Guthrie and Adair counties each saw a rise in COVID-19 cases Thursday.
According to the state dashboard as of Thursday, 26 new cases of the virus were added to Dallas County for a total of 1,615. They also have 1,130 individuals that have recovered and 34 deaths. Greene County remained the same on Thursday with 37 cases, 29 recoveries, and zero deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Thursday, Guthrie County saw six new cases to increase their total to 114, with 69 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County reported two new positive cases for a total of 22 with 15 recoveries and no deaths.
Statewide, there were 841 new cases Thursday for a total of 40,634, with 28,915 recoveries and 818 deaths. Of the 437,847 people that have been tested, 395,651 were negative.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 87 hospitalized patients, with 20 in Intensive Care Units, and 10 admitted in the last 24 hours.
