4:44am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 320th Street and B Avenue. Kaitlin Dahl 28 of Coon Rapids was driving a 2006 Dodge Charger and struck a deer causing around 2,500 dollars damage.

7:34am: A deputy investigated a fire in the 1600 block of P Avenue. The property owner was not aware of the burn ban and put the fire out.

8:40am: Jacob Monthei 21 of Churdan was booked into the jail for animal neglect.

9:00am: Conner Groves 23 of Churdan was booked into the jail for animal neglect.

10:52am: The Sheriff and Scranton Fire responded to a brush fire that had gotten out of control. The owner of the property was warned as they were not aware of the burn ban.

6:10pm: Brittany Smith 32 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for interference of official acts.

7:24pm: Timothy Hoyle 19 of Churdan was booked into the jail for minor in possession of alcohol and theft 5th degree.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven
