The Raccoon Valley Radio listening area continues to see drops in unemployment last month. 

According to Iowa Workforce Development, Guthrie County was at 7.2-precent unemployment for June, which was a 1.3-percent decrease from May. Greene County was at seven-percent unemployment in June, which was down 1.5-precent from May. Dallas County reported a 5.8-precent unemployment rate for June, which was a drop of 1.2-percent from May.

The statewide unemployment rate for June was eight-percent and the national rate was 11.1-percent.
