Jesse Stewart Backstrom, age 27 of 1054 10th Ave., NW., Altoona was arrested in the 22000 block of Highway 141 for OWI and driving while barred.
Donna Josoff of Centerville was traveling west near the 113 mile marker of Interstate 80 when a strong gust of wind made the camper she was pulling to sway. It then jack knifed and slid into the cable barriers. No injuries reported. Damage to the camper estimated at $5000.00 and $150.00 to the cable barrier post.

Jennifer Jane Ayres, age 50 of 500 W Mahlon St., Jefferson was arrested in the 26000 block of Highway 141, Bouton for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to provide proof of financial liability.

Justin Compton of Earlham was traveling near the 106 mile marker of Interstate 80 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10000.00.
