The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers baseball team was able to win their quarterfinal game of class 3A – Substate 7 action on Friday night defeating the Newton Cardinals by the score of 11-1 in six innings of work. ADM would get get a huge night at the plate as they were able to tally 14 hits on the night, including five different Tigers with double-figure hits.

They were led by junior Grant Garton, who had four hits on the night with two RBIs, and Cole Williamson, who was able to hit a single in the third, which brought in two runs and helped a Tiger rally that would score six in the frame. That frame would also include an RBI single from senior Zach Fuller, RBI double from Jaxson Millsap, and a 2 run RBI double from Chase Anderson.

Fuller got the start and had an efficient 4 1/3 innings with one run given up, four hits, and seven strikeouts on the night. Cole Williamson pitched the final 1 2/3 in relief only giving up one hit and zero runs.
