scoop-the-loop-2

A Stuart tradition returns for its ninth year tomorrow, with some modifications in light of COVID-19.

The Scoop the Loop rolling car show will take place downtown from 5-8 p.m., with no registration required, several trophy prizes, and free gift bags for the first 110 vehicles registered. The volunteer staff will be wearing face masks, and participants are also encouraged to wear them. Attendees are also asked to bring their own hand sanitizer and practice social distancing. They will also have two registration booths to lessen person-to-person contact, and instead of an awards ceremony, the trophies will be presented to the winners’ cars starting at 7:15 p.m.

As a precaution there will be no food vendors, so visitors are encouraged to either arrive early or stay late to enjoy one of the City’s restaurants. Their June event was cancelled because of COVID-19, so organizer Bob Cook hopes this will be a safe and successful event so they can return with their final scheduled event of 2020 on September 12th.
