Emily Ruby Witter, age 29 of 305 27th St., Mason City was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized use of credit cards and failure to appear for PSI interview.
Chad Michael Menz, age 39 of 1420 Evelyn St., Perry was arrested on a warrant for domestic abuse assault and violation of a no contact order.
Deputies responded to a 3 car vehicle accident in the 28000 block of Highway 44. Stanley Markey of Minburn was traveling east on Highway 44 when he crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by William Ice of Grimes. Nicholas Duckett of Adel was behind Markey and was unable to avoid striking Markey’s vehicle. Markey was transported to Mercy Main Downtown by EMS, Ice was transported by EMS to the Veterans Affair Hospital. Duckett was not injured. Damage to Markey’s vehicle estimated at $5000.00, Ice’s vehicle estimated at $5000.00and $2000.00 to Duckett’s vehicle. Markey was cited for unsafe passing.
Jordan Moeller of Woodward was traveling south in the 12000 block of S Ave., when William Lenerz of West Des Moines was backing out of a private field entrance and struck the passenger side of Moeller’s vehicle. No injuries reported. Damage to Moeller’s vehicle estimated at $5000.00 and $200.00 to Lenerz’s. Lenerz was cited for unsafe entry onto the roadway.
