Little Miss Brelynn James

Little Mister Emilio Rubio and Mr. Personality C.J. Rubio

Though the Adair County Fair decided not to have a fair queen contest this year and extended the 2019 queen Jill Wallaces’ reign, they did crown a Little Miss and Mister virtually.

For the safety of the youth, their families, and volunteers, the contest was held virtually having the contestants each submit a 30 second video of the child saying their name, age, and their favorite thing to do at the fair. Contestants were limited to those 5-8 years old as of September 1st, and were judged on appearance, poise, and personality. On Tuesday Brelynn James and Emilio Rubio were announced as the Little Miss and Mister, respectively. Little Miss Runner Up was Bailey Breheny and Little Mister Runner Up was Luke Rardin. Gracie Schildberg was also announced as Miss Congeniality, and C.J. Rubio was named Mr. Personality. The Board thanks all who participated and Katie Huff who organized the contest.

The fair continues tomorrow with the rabbit, cat, and beef shows and Mid America Truck and Tractor Pullers as the grandstand entertainment. Listen to Raccoon Valley Radio as we continue to broadcast live with the Big Red Radio from the fair on 107.9 FM, KKRF.
