There are several livestock shows happening at the Adair County Fair in Greenfield tomorrow.

The day begins with the 4-H/FFA horse show at 8 a.m. in the horse arena. Summerset Citizens 4-H member Jennifer Holliday is competing in the show for a second year with her American Quarter Horse named Zippy. Holliday describes the several classes involved in the show, “There’s showmanship. In showmanship you have a halter around your horse and everything’s on the ground. Showmanship is more about you and making sure you look good and act positive in the show ring, rather than your horse. As for all the other classes, there’s horsemanship and reining, western pleasure, and then there’s fun classes like barrels and flags and pole racing.”

Other livestock shows happening tomorrow are the weigh market lambs/goats show from 8-9 a.m., the sheep/lamb show at 11:30 a.m., and the meat goat show at 2 p.m. Tomorrow also features the first night of grandstand entertainment with the Demolition Derby at 7 p.m. You can find more coverage of the Adair County Fair here, as we broadcast live from the Big Red Radio through Sunday.
