The Perry School Board met in regular session Monday night.
The main topic of discussion was the return to learn plan. After about a hour of discussion between the board, Superintendent Clark Wicks, and a variety of staff, administration, and community members the board unanimously approved the return to learn plan that lays out protocols for what the school year is set to look like. After the superintendents report, Wicks informed the board that Perry High School was selected for the 2020 School of Character Award by the Drake University Robert D. and Billie Ray Center.
Following that the board approved a series of annual appointments including board secretary, board treasurer, legal counsel, student abuse by school employee investigators, and equal opportunity and affirmative action officer.
