The Jefferson Police Department recently released information from the most recent special Traffic Enforcement Program (sTEP) Wave.

From July 3rd-7th, officers issued 17 citations and 36 warnings. Most of the citations were for speeding and having an open container of alcohol, of which there were three each. Other citations included OWIs, driving without a license, driving with a suspended or revoked license, no proof of insurance, and felony and narcotics arrests. The most warnings that were issued was ten for other vehicle violations.
