The Guthrie Center City Council will discuss and consider action on a developer agreement for the upper story renovation of the Williams Building Monday.

The City recently received a $100,000 Community Catalyst Building Remediation grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority for a $300,000 project to secure the north and south sides of the building, complete one apartment on the second floor, complete the electrical and plumbing for all of the apartments on the second floor, and restore the grand staircase. In other business, the Council will consider appointments to the Library Board, discuss and consider action on insurance matters and the Citywide cleanup advertising costs.

The Board meets at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
