Adel residents are invited to take part in a citizen-organized event to help restock waning supplies of blood at area hospitals.
The Adel Community Blood Drive will be held Wednesday, July 29th from 9 a.m. – noon. The Lincoln Savings Bank Bloodmobile will be on hand in the parking lot of their Adel branch, located at 312 Nile Kinnick Drive South. Appointments are required to take part, and can be made through the LifeServe Blood Center by phone at 800-287-4903, text at 999-777, or online. Donors will need to bring a valid form of identification, such as their donor card or driver’s license. Organizers add that this blood drive will allow frequent donors to build up their points with LifeServe, which can be used to get exclusive items from their online store.
