The AC/GC baseball team is gearing up for their first round matchup against Manson Northwest Webster.

The Chargers will make the trip to Dayton Saturday afternoon. They ended their regular season Wednesday with a 17-5 win over Glidden-Ralston in four innings. AC/GC has three batters hitting over .300 in Bryce Littler, Newell Rodgers, and Miles Kading. Littler is leading the way with 19 hits and 13 RBI, but the gap between the three hitters is not very wide. This will be Manson Northwest Webster’s first game since June 26th as they had a positive COVID test within the program and had to cancel the remainder of the regular season to quarantine. The Cougars bring in a 2-4 record as they were able to get six games under their belt before the stoppage.

First pitch is set for 4:30 and you can listen to the game on K107.9 FM with pre-game coverage slated for 4:15.
