The West Central Valley Wildcats baseball and softball teams will be back in action today when they both play at home. The girls will be taking on the Wolverines of Nodaway Valley, as the Wildcats will be looking for their second win of the year. Nodaway Valley also comes in with a losing record, but does show a lot of talent and should be a fun home contest for the Wildcats.
The boys will also be at home when they take on the Bluejays of Perry, as they head down to Stuart for a non-conference matchup. Perry picked up their first win of the season earlier this week against ACGC, while West Central Valley is still looking for their first win and will be hoping to find a way to get it tonight.
It should be good experience and reps for both teams tonight as they get prepared for their district games coming up Saturday for the boys, and Monday for the girls. Both games are expected to start at seven, so make sure you get out to West Central Valley High School tonight to support your teams.
