The Panora Chamber of Commerce is incentivizing the public to support local businesses with a new “Be Local” discount card.
Chamber Summer Marketing Coordinator Christin Koch describes the promotion that was launched Wednesday, “They’re credit card sized cards and they have 13 offers on the back from local businesses that are continuous offers that you’ll be able to use from July of this year to July 31st, 2021. And yeah we’re just really excited about them because it encourages people to come in and shop local and along with kind of just everything we’ve been doing has been very ‘be local’ and take advantage of local businesses.”
The cards cost $15 and can be purchased at Guthrie County State Bank, Iowa Trust and Savings Bank, and Crafty’s Coffee and Gifts in Panora. The public is also encouraged to support the local economy with the Chamber’s Shop Local, Eat Local, Be Local promotion occurring on the second Friday of every month.
