Guthrie County residents are reminded of free children’s summer lunch programs being offered this summer.
The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center school districts provide free grab and go meals every Tuesday from 6:30-7 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club in Adair and from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at Guthrie Center Elementary. The Panorama School District is dropping off free meals to anyone 18 years and younger at the Bagley Community Center, Linden Post Office/Library, Jamaica City Park, Panora Public Library, and Yale Memorial Park from 11:30-11:45 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays through his month. Families can sign up by emailing Superintendent Shawn Holloway mentioning how many children will be participating and which location you’d prefer. The West Central Valley Recreation Club is offering free meals to anyone 18 years old and younger from 11 a.m.-noon on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Stuart and Dexter elementary buildings, Menlo City Park, and Redfield Recreation Club.
