Jim “Bones” Corkrean,68, of Orient passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, at the MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

 Mass of Christian Burial for close friends and family will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winterset, Iowa.  Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be practiced and the family encourages masks to be worn.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.  The Steen Funeral Home of Greenfield is in charge of professional arrangements.

A Celebration of Life for Bones will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Kramer’s on Main Street in Orient.  Time will be set aside for guests to share their favorite memories and stories of Bones.  Please feel free to wear your Chicago Cubs apparel to honor Bones’ memory.
