A reminder: a special live performance will be in Jefferson later today.

Local musician Rick Morain will perform patriotic music on the 48-bells of the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower from 12:15-12:30pm. The Bell Tower Community Foundation encourages everyone to support local businesses during that time by shopping and eating lunch from a local restaurant. Attendees are encouraged to sit outside around the downtown square or enjoy the music from your vehicle.   

The bell tower is open daily from 10am-4pm. Visitors must wear a mask and those will be available for those without one. Youth 18 and younger are admitted free, due to the sponsorship from Greene County Schools Foundation. Adult admission is $3.
