A reminder that tonight is the free fireworks show in Jefferson.

The event will take place at Wild Rose Casino and Resort at dusk. The City of Jefferson has partnered with the casino the last few years to put on the display. Wild Rose General Manager Travis Dvorak encourages everyone to attend.

“We really felt that of all the things that’s been going on this year – and obviously 2020 has been a very stressful year for us all – for us to get out and have some fireworks and enjoy the night air, and enjoy a little bit of normalcy, and having a little bit of remembering that we’re in America and all the great things are in America, I just thought it was important for us and the City to partner up, and I’m glad (City Administrator) Mike Palmer felt the same way. We’d love to do a 4th of July (fireworks) again for everybody.”        

The fireworks will be on the north side of the casino and attendees are encouraged to park in the parking lot. The event is free and open to the public.
