The teenager from DeSoto who had been missing since Saturday has been found safe, according to the DeSoto Police Department.

In a press release, Police Chief John Sparling said 16-year-old Lillian Dhabalt had been located by family members. She was reported missing on June 27th, and was reportedly found in Oregon Friday afternoon. Arrangements are currently being made for her return to Iowa. Sparling offered his thanks to the community for spreading the word of her disappearance, and commended the law enforcement agencies and family members involved with the search.
