The Guthrie County Fair is about two months away, and the Fair Board is seeking fairgoers’ input on how to conduct this year’s events in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A short online survey is open from now until noon on July 8th to get the public’s opinion on aspects like the grandstand events and parade. As the fair takes place annually during Labor Day weekend, announcements of event changes have not been made, except for the cancellation of this year’s fair queen contest. Another large event annually held at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds, the River Ruckus, postponed its three day music festival with most of its scheduled acts to July of 2021. They have also decided to hold a smaller festival on July 25th. For a link to the fair survey, visit here.
