The West Central Valley Wildcats were unable to get the win last night against Southeast Polk, falling short as they continue to look for their first win of the season.
They found out their district schedule for 2A baseball earlier in the week. They will be competing in district twelve, where the Wildcats will be taking on Pleasantville on the road on Saturday, July 11th at 7 o’clock. The winner of that game will go on to play Van Meter on Tuesday the 14th at 7 o’clock.
They are in a five team district along with Pleasantville, Clarke, Osceola, Interstate 35, and Van Meter. The Bulldogs of Van Meter are currently the number one team in class 2A in the state of Iowa. West Central Valley has nine days between now and district time to get prepared for the round, as they hope to make some noise in their district.
