Since Independence Day occurs on a Saturday this year, many offices in Guthrie County will be observing the holiday tomorrow.

Guthrie Center, Panora, and Stuart city halls and the Guthrie County Courthouse will be closed tomorrow. The Panora and Stuart public libraries will be closed, while the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center will be open from 9 a.m.-noon. The Guthrie County Health Services building and Transfer Station will also be closed tomorrow. The United States Postal Service will be observing the holiday Saturday.
