The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors approved a Secondary Roads Department project plan Tuesday.

County Engineer Josh Sebern explained, the project will involve replacing two bridges in Orange Township and one bridge in Union Township with culverts. Sebern estimates the work will cost $50,000 and he explained that combining the three bridges into one project will warrant lower construction bids. In other business, the Board approved a resolution establishing the county law enforcement center construction fund for the $8.7 million project, as required by the State Auditor’s Office. They also approved two fireworks permit requests, and a motion to accept a dotGov domain agreement, as the Secretary of State’s Office has allocated $1 million to assist counties in moving their websites.
